Wk 7 - Sept 24 - Sept 28:
Mon: Watch the video on speed / distance / time. Take notes on the equations, sample problems, and on the triangle he gives you to help you manipulate the equation. Write the notes on "How to calculate SDT" in your ISN as well. Work on a practice problem with your teacher.
Tue: Videos - Sports Science
Continue working on practice problems for speed / distance / time.
Wed: EARLY RELEASE
We only see 2nd and 6th periods. However, all classes should do the assignment.

Mon: Write Unit 5 Vocabulary in your ISN. Write the word and definition.
Tue: Finish writing Unit 5 vocabulary in ISN. Test yourself on socrative.com

Wed: Work on your energy invention project with your shoulder partner. If you were absent, you must still complete the assignment.
Thur: Finish energy invention project. Set up binder. Tear out pages 316-386 from textbook. Read pages 320 - 326. Highlight any important information as you read. Complete questions #7-9 and #11-15 in the lesson. You may write the answers in the book.
Finish reading, highlighting, and complete the active reading questions #7-9 and #11-15 in the text.

Mon: Finish Bounce Back Experiment. Graph our data, draw a diagram, and write your conclusion.
Tue: Work on Hypothesis / Variable Worksheet.
Wed: EARLY RELEASE
Set up Binders and Assign Textbooks
Thur: Discuss ways we can collect data. Introduce Quantitative and Qualitative Data with a short introduction video. Take notes on the video. Read pages 40-41 in your textbook and answer questions #5-8.
Fri: Watch short introduction video to repetition and replication. Practice Identifying Replication and Repetition.
Wk 1 - Aug 13 - Aug 17 :
Mon: Discuss classroom expectations and procedures.
Tues: Discuss the syllabus, use of technology, and the board set up.
Wed: Discuss Bellwork Procedure, Set up ISN.
Discuss Academic and Behavior goals. How do you plan to achieve those goals?
Thur: Write your goals in your ISN on page 1. 3 of each academic and behavior. Tell me at least 3 things you will do to help yourself achieve these goals.
Take the "What's your learning style?" Quiz. Write your name, date, and period on an index card and return it to your teacher for a classwork grade.

Tue: Read, Research, Write. Page 34 in your textbook. Read the few paragraphs on page 34, Look at Question 14. (See page below) Complete the assignment on loose leaf paper. If you don't finish it, take it home and complete it.
Wed: Replication / Repetition Lab
If you were absent, please complete the alternate assignment called "Replication/Repetition Alternate Assignment."
Thur: Finish the assessment for the lab. Work on study guide for quiz tomorrow.
Wk 2 - Aug 20 - Aug 24:
Mon: Discuss Textbook Format Vocabulary. Write the words and definitions in your ISN.
Tue: Create (Draw) and introduce your own scientist. Click on the blue words for instructions.
Wed: NOS Vocabulary Lessons 1-4: write the word and definition in your ISN.
Thur: Discuss the 3 types of Scientific Investigations. Glue notes in your ISN. Complete a sorting activity to test your knowledge.
Fri: Start the Bounce Back Experiment. Make your prediction, Conduct the experiment, and record your data in the table. Average your results from your 3 trials.
